Yep, sticking with the 40DCOE for now. Biggest drawback is lack of easy
mixture control. It has two independent barrels, one for each cylinder head.
Each barrel is 40 mm dia with a 32 mm venturi. Main jets are 140 (1.4mm
dia).

Temporarily borrow (?) a MP gauge from your work and see if you have an
intake restriction or something. If the EFS-2 allows 28" or so then your
problem may lie elsewhere.
