Mark, Good luck with your sanding. My KR is complete with the filling and sanding, it has been primed, sanded, painted, clear coated, sanded again for the graphics and hopefully the graphics will be complete in about two weeks. Then the inspection and the first flight. My theme will be a KR wrapped in the American flag in 3 diminsion from cowling to the empinage with flames just on cowling and a small portion of the wing. It will be tastefully done but not overdone as most planes with this theme is. The flag will have the appearanace of waveing in 3D, a small WWII nose art of the Stature of Liberty using airbrush technique will be on the right side of the fuselage just behind the canopy. The tail numbers will be 22 carat gold leaf with shadows. A volunteer model will be used for the face of Miss Liberty. Hopefully the 40 hours will be flown off by Mt. Vernon time so that I can fly it to the KR Gathering. My KR may not be the best around, but I will be a proud owner. Have fun sanding.
