I will not be able to remove the canopy from inside but I will have an
emergency break-out tool in my KR. My brother was showing me his knife
collection last week and came to one knife and said this is what many
firefighters and rescue personnel use. When I checked it out I decided this
would make a good break out tool so he gave it to me. Check it out on ebay
item no. 7161343120 It seems to have a strong enough blade to punch through
a canopy or even the plywood. the blade also has serrations for cutting
seatbelts and is easy one hand operation. The handle also has a hole which
could be used to attached to the airplane in an area where you can reach it
and will not go flying away in a crash.
