I just got back from the dedication and re-opening of our SAC ("Sport
Aviation Center") that is the home of EAA Chapter 242. Troy Trolle ( hope I
got that right ) from national was there to make several presentations and
had some very kind and inspirational words in praise of our chapter. We are
celebrating our 40th anniversary and have just re-furbished the SAC, 15
years after Paul Poberesny helped us dedicate it. I just wanted to let you
know what a great bunch of people there are in EAA242, we raised over $35
000 for the restoration and continued maintenance of this facility, from
donations from the members.
