I don,t know about wooden propellers but a metal prop can run into a bad
harmonic vibration if not match to an engine
I'm building a KR-2s I'm planning on putting a wooden prop on it also and
Ill be checking on proper indexing on it.
My understanding of propellers is that the wood props don't have the same
problems that metal props do however I'm not going to leave that to chance.
Who ever made your prop should have that information .
The friend of mine that had the problem had been flying his airplane for
quite a long time also and noticed a strange vibration and landed trying to
figure it out that when he found the crack he called the manufacture and
they did some testing with sensors on the same prop and said it had been cut
to the worst length for that engine prop combination
