Dan and netters It would be very easy to wire a primer solenoid into the starter circuit for use only while starting. Use a Bosch or equivalent 20 amp relay, and wire the starter solenoid wire to the switched side of the relay, making a "Y" to be able to connect to both. The other side of the relay connects to ground. These should be the labeled 86 to 87 prongs on the relay. It will show a squiggle on the side diagram illustrating how it is the switched side of the relay. The other side is the 30 to 85 labeled circuits. The 30 prong gets battery continuous hot, and the 85 prong is to the primer solenoid. Ground the solenoid locally to the ground bus. When you push the switch to make the starter spin, the primer will also spray, and only while the starter is engaged. Best part is that by using these relays, you can use low amperage switches inside the cockpit, and keep all the high amperage loads in the engine compartment!
