My dear KR Netters.
I was a personal friend of the late Ken Rand and he was one of the best
men I have ever known. Since all of you out there are interested in his design
I want to tell you, all of you that I wish you could have met and got to know
him because he was a person you would never forget.
His lose was a real blow to the experimental aviation community and all who
knew him experienced a real lose including me. I know the hardest time for his
wife and daughters is this time of year when they remember the Christmas
seasons they enjoyed together. He produced a great design that will be around
for many years to come and hopefully he will go down in history as one of the
great contributors to aviation.
