Oh God!
  I rarely post here because I just don't feel cumfy (maybe just a little 
paranoid) but I'm 5'8" and 195 I consider my KR a single place with extra 
room for my"stuff" .  This will probably start a flame war but, STICK WITH 
THE TRIGEAR!!!!!!  You said that you are a low time pilot so the trigear is 
best, you will do all your training in a trigear.   As far as the 
repairman's cert,  if you have all the work that you say that has to be 
done, then no problem!  If you look at the kits that meet the 51 percent 
rule then you know what I mean.
   Spars!  The KR is built like a tank need I say more?
  25 pound loss loosing the tri gear?  I just don't think so but as several 
people say your results may vary!
