Just thought I would motivate you builders with a short flight report. This
morning before the family woke, I was at the airport to capture some cool air
(72°) and smooth air. I took off from Waukesha Airport (UES) and headed north
to Hartford Airport (HXF). I made a full stop landing at Hartford then
proceeded to Fond Du Lac Airport (FLD) and made a full stop landing there. From
Fond Du Lac, I proceeded north along the west shore of Lake Winnebago until I
reached Oshkosh Airport (OSH) where I made a full stop landing. From Oshkosh, I
headed back south to Waukesha Airport and landed with another 1.7 on the Hobbs.
This was the first time I had flown into Oshkosh Airport and the approach over
the lake was beautiful. I envisioned the field covered with planes and people
like it will be in a few short weeks. Oshkosh is a very beautiful field from
the air and I look forward to flying in there for Airventure. Speaking of which
is going the be here before we know it...HOW MANY KR's CAN WE COUNT ON BEING
THERE? Who is going to fly their KR to Airventure?
