Probably, but it depends on why the Bosch isn't pumping. If the diaphragm is torn, the fuel may just pump into the engine case. Fortunately that's fairly rare, especially with a new pump. It would probably be safer to do the usual isolation of the two systems using check valves. Having said that, I know of people doing it that way. You need to be careful that you're not feeding too much pressure to the EFS-2 though, as the two would be additive to some extent. I'll also confess to not having taken one of the modern (1970's) VW fuel pumps apart, since I think they are crimped or otherwise difficult to get apart (and I just toss 'em and either buy a new one or use a Facet anyway), so I really have no idea what I'm talking about... just talking generalities...
