If you have dual ignition, for sure, run it till it quits. I have one and it is working fine. Before I got my inspection, the inspector did some research on it, and sent me this note about it:
Mr. Heath, The slick 4216 has an AD on the coil. It appears that the serial number of your mag does not apply. However it would be helpful, if you could get a local A&P to make a log entry to that.
