I know nothing about vdub engines but I can refer you to a nice guy who
builds them and who has been helpful to me in the past. His name is Scott
Casler and is located in Coolidge. His website url is http://hummelengines.com/

I previously sent a message to you that you may have missed hoping that we
could get together to view my rehab project as I live in Maricopa not far from
you. Phone 602.748.4078.

Subject: VW question

Netters,

For those of you who know a thing or two about the VW, I have a question re:
the placement of the oil presure probe. Right now it is at the front of the
left side looking at it from the front. there are two soft plugs in the front
left area. One on top of the case just behind the current location and one in
the front of the case just below the distibutor hole. My question is... can I
plud the current hole and tap one of these other locations to put the probe?????
