Well, lets see, 3" clearance on each side, that's 6" and 1-1/2' on each side for wall thickness, that's 3" and 6" and 3" are 9". Then add outside hinged full width doors. 87" plus 9"= 96" divided by 12" = 8 ft. Looks good to me. Back the plane into the trailer so the wheels will clear the trailer wheel wells and hang the wings up high on the sidewalls with wide strap material so they won't get damaged, slide the ramps up under the plane and I think your ready to go. I've seen it done.
