I went out to the hangar tonight to get the plane ready to go. I had the
altimeter out, had replaced the battery, did a little work on the cowling,
and the whole top of the plane was off. When I left it, it was ready to hop
in, put my cap on, turn on the laptop, and head to SC99. As I started to
leave I thought it might be prudent to go ahead and program the GPS for SC99
to save another few seconds, but it turned out to be more of a chore than
that. The database didn't recognize SC99, but fortunately I had coordinates
printed off from www.airnav.com . For SC99, details are:

      FAA Identifier: SC99
      Lat/Long: 33-57-50.0000N / 081-21-33.0000W
      33-57.833333N / 081-21.550000W
      33.9638889 / -81.3591667

      Elevation: 520 ft. / 158 m (estimated)
      Variation: 05W (1995)
From city: 5 miles W of LEXINGTON, SC

I know at least Joe Horton will need to know this, since he also has a
Lowrance Airmap 1000 with the Jeppessen database.
