Do you have a filter on your fuel system that meets the criteria of the carb? I used a Marine fuel filter for a long time and finally decided that it was too large and switched to a gascolator from Vans, but still had to add a filter that would meet the criteria of my carb.
Didn't know that gascolators had pressure settings on them. See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - Then click on the pics See you at the 2009 - KR Gathering in Mt. I increased the size of the nose tank and refitted the rebuilt Limbach motor. Since the changes I battled to start the engine until I bypassed the Gascolator. There is a valve on the lowest point of my tank where water can be drained before each flight, if need be. What is the purpose of the casculator and why are the pressure settings on it. What may happen if I fly the with the bypassed casculator?
