I came across an article in the yet2.com Technology Marketplace Report for a small jet engine invention advertised to be suitable for light sport, ultralight and experimental aircraft applications. The prototype is shown installed on a trike. I suppose that would take some major redesign to fit something like a jet engine to a KR. The Japanese to literal English translation can be a challenge, but you can get the sense of it.
