As Jeff just said in another thread and Larry just said above, don't be so quick to retreat at what you initially think is a rebuttal. There are always going to be differing opinions. I do think what a couple people on this list, who have acted in such a manner, don't fully realize is how the gathering location process works. You must attend the gathering and present your proposal at the banquet for critique. It is voted on at that time, it is not decided on the internet. Come to gathering, bring a big trout from MN or a seashell from CA, lobster from NH.... I actually liked the NH idea.....and fire away, but be willing to walk away empty handed but still friends.
