Good time to buy engine and I would like to listen to yours opinion about the engines types. I am looking engine to install in my beard. The engine must be: About 100HP, Air cooling, Without gear, Ready for installation, Extension to engine axis, Can be rebuild, About 1000 hour to Overall. Did I write the entire necessary question? Jeff Scott (N1213W) installed engine type "IO-200" and it is look fine. But I am not sure if I can find this engine in the market which is ready to fly. Am I right? George McHenry's (N966G) installed engines type IO-233-LSA. It is fine but new. Somebody can write few words about this engine? It is good selection? About Corvair, I am following the Krnet forum and it is seems to me there is many problems with the crankshaft, am I right?
