In my honest opinion, you would have to slam the nose down real hard to 
collapse it. I actually ran over a deer with mine and it did no damage to 
it. Another thing to remember is that the load on the nose strut is very 
minimal with the pilot and passenger in the plane. I weighed the load on the 
nose wheel with me sitting in the cockpit and there was only 47 pounds on 
the nose wheel. In the empty weight configuration there is a 214 pound load 
on the nose wheel.
