I have just finished reading an accident investigation report where a
Long-EZ winglet almost came off in flight. The post flight tear down and
examination of the winglet revealed some poor fibreglassing techniques which
included the use of micro in areas where flox was called for and the use of
micro between fibreglass layers.

The aircraft may be a Long-EZ however the detailed findings, including
pictures are just as applicable to our KRs.
