It can / will take from 1000 to 2000 hours, start to finish, depending on the number of pre-made parts you buy and how many changes you make to the plans. If you can put in 10 hours a week on a regular basis, you are looking at a 2 to 4 year project. I did not work on my project on a regular basis and made many changes. It took me 13 years but it doesn't have to take that long as the above numbers would indicate. I still consider my time well spent for the airplane I ended up with. AWESOME..............
