OK, thanks, I'll do one more for the record tonight if it is calm enough. That 
would be a full throttle run at say maybe 1500 ft. I know what every other 
number should be at 1500 but i have never looked at the fuel flow because I 
didn't care how much fuel I was using to eek out every mph that I could. The 
other numbers should be 177 mph true, @ 3370 rpm. just need to add gph.

so Based on my calcs, HP= G/h * 6 / BSFC or 7.8*6/.5= 93.6 Hp
BSFC for a low comp carby engine is ~ .5 @ max power ~.45 at max TQ.
@4.8 gph you are getting ~ 57.6 Hp
