Hi all, I have a stock width horizontal stabilizer and would like to lengthen it. My research shows those that have done this have built a new stabilizer. Is it possible to just extend the existing stabilizer? I am not a structural engineer (so be gentle please) but can imagine the problems that this would create (since the spar would not extend to the tip).
