Hi Craig, I just read and learn as I  go along here and I as a Tool and Die 
Maker Fabricating machines for years I would recommend If you are hooked on 
your Tanks that You would be better off finding someone that does Tig and more 
than likely they would help you out reasonably if you asked them. The job could 
be done quickly and really give professional results with little to no cleanup 
work and not as critical as torch or splatter gun. Just my 2 cents seeing as I 
am lazy and do things the easiest and most efficient way I can. There are 
plenty of people that would help you out if you explain what you need to them. 
You might want to try a "wanted ad" on Craigslist, As I have helped many there
