Hello netters,Michel Colomban,the designer of the "Cri-Crii" and the famous
"BanBi" made intesive test with his bubble to frame connection and resumed
,that no screws or rivets are necessary to connect his bubble (polycarbonat)
to his alu-tube frame. He simply takes the elasticbonder which is used by the
automobil industry to bond their front and rear wind-
shields into their cars.Over here in Germany ,many products are available.The
one i took for my kr is made by "Terroson".
Very simple to work with. You only have to clean the bubble and the frame,brush
on the delivered primer,apply the bonder and put on the bubble.Wait 24 hours
and the canopy is ready!.Simply protect the elastic joints against UV by
painting them with paint of your decision.A save and strong connection without
the problems of cracks due to the alternate screwing or riveting!!
