I think the height will depend on configuration. If nose dragger like mine, to get the tail inside the trailer, it needs to be over 5' tall. I have a 4 place Wellscargo snowmobile trailer and I have to tie the tail down and it still sometimes bounces off the roof. In conventional config, I think you could get by with probably 4'.
