I bought them from Ron Frieberger back in 2004 and don't know if he is still on the KR Net or not. They are fog driving lights which you would mount on a bumper or truck roof. I see them all the time at car parts stores and even Wal Mart which is where he bought these. All fog driving lights have a reflector in front of the bulb which spreads the light beam. You will want to take the case apart and remove the reflector in front of the bulb. This will give you a spot light instead of a flood light and will increase the effective range 10 times for use as a landing light. Somewhere I have a drawing which circulated on the net which shows how to remove the reflector and it may have had the Mfg and part number on it. I am going to post this to the net in case Ron is still out there or maybe someone else will have the drawing I am referring to. http://www.flykr2s.com/wing.html Mark Jones (N886MJ) Stevens Point, WI E-mail: flyk...@charter.net Web: www.flykr2s.com _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to krnet-le...@mylist.net please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html
