I should be out at my hanger today. I will try to get those measurements but I 
think there is nine inches but probably not much more. I guess there could be 
variations depending on how you construct the tank.

I know each plane varies, and I'll get the 'answer' around the 2nd week 
of January (when I get home on leave and actually get to do some work on 
my plane)....

But about how much space is there between the instrument panel of a 
typical non-Sed KR-2, and the fuel tank?

How likely is it that I'll be able to install a 9" deep instrument 
('EFIS Sport' PFD)  with the stock fuel tank config?
