The Bosch 0-001-160-0xx series is almost impossible to find online, and apparently the older diehl cases - probably like mine - don't fit the gpasc Subaru starter....
Does anyone have one of the old style direct drive starters laying around? If no, does anyone know of a newer part number that fits? I liked the idea of the Subaru geared starter because they are locally available - in any junkyard or autoparts store... But the bolt pattern is too wide for my case....
