KR friends, In the Netherlands is a very stupid rule, if your plane is aerobatics it is allowed to let de engine make more sound. If it is not aerobatics you have to work with mufflers to increase the sound level. If you work with a muffler this will cost you weight. So the best way is to to get is for light arobatics. Where can I find and prove that it is allowed by the designer?
Thanks Stef den Boer Stef and Ted are building the KR-2S see http://www.masttotaalconcept.nl/kr2 ________________________________ Van: krnet-boun...@mylist.net namens Larry&Sallie Flesner Verzonden: di 26-6-2012 0:31 Aan: KRnet Onderwerp: Re: KR> Aerobatics At 04:39 PM 6/25/2012, you wrote: >Are the KR's aerobatic? >Brian ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The KR's are capable of limited aerobatics, basically loops and rolls, if you watch the speed and G loads. In the U.S., the maneuvers must be performed during the initial phase 1 test period and proven to be safe in order to perform them legally after the test phase 1 is signed off. I'm guessing that in my case I could put the KR back in to a test phase, perform the maneuvers, and then put it back in to phase 2 but that is strictly a guess on my part.
