Drat the weather. It's fouled up every trip I've tried to take this year. I committed to attend this year right after last year's gathering. It's been on the calendar for a year now. However, the forecast is showing a stationary front sitting in my path from here to there for the next two days with lots of activity. I'm not willing to go spend the next day or two dualing with thunderstorms. Since the Gathering was just the first stop on a two week vacation, I'm still going to be out running about the country, and there is a very small chance that I may show up in time for the banquet on Saturday at best, but it looks like I'm not likely to be there at all. So now I need to come up with a new plan for my vacation. I'm afraid this year is going to be a bust for me. :o(
