6155X is now back at Chino awaiting repairs. We made it back late last night. A
huge thank you to Marc Baca for changing his flight home to help me get loaded
up and drive back.

Upon looking further at the plane, all wing spars paper to be ok. Unfortunately
and surprisingly it is the center main spar that is broken. It will need new
belly skin and FWF. I just need to decide if I want to change the airfoil or
not.

I found some very interesting stuff when examining the wing attach fittings. I
fabricated and installed wing tanks by bolting them through the spars. They
were slid in from the root. The fuel tanks did not rupture and I think helped
save the wings spars. I will see if I can get some pics up somewhere.

The plane will fly again. Just a bit of tlc and maybe a few speed mods to try
to keep up with Richard Shirley.

Thank you to the KR family for your concern and well wishes regarding my crash.
It really helped ease the pain of the situation.

Finally, I would like to thank Russ Barnett for his kindness and generosity of
sharing his People's Choice award with me. His plane is absolutely gorgeous and
he deserves the awards he received. He is a first class member of our KR family
and it is a privilege to know him and count him as a friend.

Regards,

Steve Glover
