Netters I have been asking questions about the Ellison 2 carb, and getting some
good information.
First: Mark L. gave me a number for a diaphragm for the carb. I ordered it and
it was the wrong size and it was not marks fault. More on that later.
Second: the Internet is good but not great. I have tried to looked at several
sites and some have little information and some will direct you in the wrong
direction. That is the benefit of this web site.

Last: This is where the duh comes in. I have been asking for help from this
site and I had the answer at my fingertips.

The carb I'm working on is a very old carb. From HAPI, receipt signed by Rex
Taylor.
If you go to the Ellison web site and read the article "no, it's not a POSA".
As Ben was designing the Ellison he had help from the mastermind friend of mine
Tom McNeeley. Duh I knew Tom helped Ben, so I called him (fingertips). Duh.
He again told me the story of how the carb/ throttle body was developed. They
used a Tillotson diaphragm. Mark that is why it looks similar, tillotson made
it. My model was so early it was different, Tom told me to call a local lawn
mower shop, and lo and behold I have a smooth running 2180 on a Dragonfly.

Again Thank you Net and Mark
