Great info Dan! I love to see KRs with an Autopilot, not sure I'll ever go there myself but good to see all the gadgets working!

One was to replace the experiment of the mirror motor trim servo with a Ray Allen and the other was a Dynon autopilot. Since I did not have much experience using this new feature of the Black Bird, I wanted to see what she would do with it. I knew, sort of, how to use the Heading and Altitude features, but so far, GPS Navigation had not been available. So, I went to the Bugs menu and set the Altitude to 4500 and as I was already following the GPS heading fairly well, told it to Sync the heading bug with the current heading. Then I just turned on the HDG and ALT function. Wala! Instant magic carpet. Nothing left to do but to enjoy the ride and monitor everything. The Black Bird was maintaining a heading of 278 and when she reached 4500 feet, leveled off and maintained that altitude. It seemed like magic. A KR2 flying itself, how is that possible?
