I used paint stripper on my wheel pants, I used 3 or 4 short time on coats and a plastic scraper, wash it off with water, some stripper will say on the tin to use thing life methylated sprits, I think you guys call it rubbing alcohol, but double check, no problems repainting, BUT make sure you was it ALL OFF.
