An update on my (newly minted) KR. I had purchased a high time o-200 and was hoping to get a couple hundred hours on it before doing a complete rebuild. Well, that was not the way things went, In the first few flights, the hotter the engine got, the lower the oil pressure got. 15 lbs. below Continental minimums. Pulled the engine off the plane, took it home, and it was a good thing I did. Main bearings were destroyed. So I sent case, crank, rods, cam and lifters to the appropriate machine shops. I have them back and have assembled the case. I am now waiting on 4 new Millennium cylinders. I expect them to be here next week. Hopefully, I'll be flying in 2 weeks. I would love to fly into Oshkosh with Mark and the Guys as it's always been a goal of mine. Fingers crossed.
