Randolph Epibond epoxy primer is a good start Paul. Wicks has this in stock usually. It’s a high temperature coating. What I have is W-2248 EP-420W This is the etching primer white color. Many use this for tubing aircraft frames like Wittman Tailwinds, piper cubs etc
