Comparing the two photos of Ken's KR1, the one posted by Langford as open cockpit and the photo by Kiwi, it's hard to imagine it's photos of the same airplane. Ken either did a total makeover or he built a second KR1 and used the same N number. Cowl is different, canopy, turtle deck, strake to the vertical stabilizer, paint, etc. About the only thing similar is the rear exhaust stack on the left side that sticks out the black stripe. It would be interesting to find out the details from Jeanette on when and why the upgrade.
