I checked my set of plans and there are no "Copyright" marks of any kind
but I recall the purchaser of the plans may have signed something
agreeing to only building one aircraft from each set. I didn't see that
in he plans book either with a quick scan. That might present a very
weak case for Copyright infringement if taken to court but I would hope
that as a group we seek the best possible way to protect the ownership
of the plans by the designer. I copyright much of my writings by
registration in the Copyright office, not cheap anymore, and I'd hate to
see anyone trying to take credit or monetary gain from my efforts, as
insignificant as they might be.
If Rand says they want nothing more to do with them and we attempt to
upgrade them then so be it. Let's hope that happens.
