I had thought about making my forward deck/ fuel tank removeable, but
at that time, I wanted everything forward of the main spar to be as
solid as possible. My Retractable Tri Gear, was still unproven. Where
the plans call for the second 5/8 x 5/8 spruce, from the firewall to
aft of the seat, I put in a third, under the top inner piece. This
makes an upside down L configuration.
