I'm assuming you posted this e-mail before reading Mark Langford's post
just minutes before your post as many of your questions were answered
there. Yes, the Freebird is based on the KR2 with 50 years of
improvements / modifications. Mark gave anticipated date on plans
availability (free download) and for a support group, you're a member of
one of the best support groups on the web. Before plans are available
you might start working on a location to do the build.
