I was running a 50/50 mix at the time.  The Ellison got too hot and I had 
removed a cooling scoop from the cowling when I rebuilt it for my RAM air.  So 
my fault.  I now run a Rotec TBI with the primer button on the regulator so you 
can break the vapor lock.  The 10-4894 was always way too rich so I had to 
abandon it.   And yes training and mindset is everything.  I was at 600ft and 
it took about 60 second and I was flaring to land in that field.
