Steve contacted me a few weeks ago to suggest a particular collaborative authoring site, and offered his assistance. I reserved (I thought) www.freebirdplans.com as a site that I could forward to www.freebirdplans.org, for those who forgot the ".org" extension, and also to prevent scammers and other nefarious actors from setting up shop in a look-alike site....freebirdplans.com. It's great to know that he's the guy with that domain, so we don't have that problem now, and I'm happy to have him on board with the effort. That's an even better use for the .com site, since we needed to put the collaborative authoring site somewhere anyway, so I welcome the good news that he has the .com site. The main FreeBird site for "consumers" will be www.freebirdplans.org, which I just started on today, and is also when I noticed that I apparently didn't follow through with my purchase of the .com site, and contacted through the system. I'm quite relieved, and happy to have more expert help with this effort.....
