Looking for (4) access doors for my KR. Two for the wing tanks, one for the header tank and one for the oil dipstick. I know I can make them but would rather buy water/critter proof access panels.

Brett,

There is simply no way you're going to find somebody that has something that's going to fit your plane even remotely well....in any way, especially something like a dipstick cover.  No two KRs are alike, and nothing you could buy will fit....if you could even buy it.

What you need is "ideas on how to make covers".  It's a simple matter to make these parts.  First stick some not-too-sticky duct tape down on the surface where you want the cover.  Tape off the area around it with plastic to keep drips away.  We out three or four layers of fiberglass that are slightly larger than the area you want the cover, and smooth the fiberglass cover in place where you want it.  Wait until it cures, then match drill the holes (while it's still stuck down) where the screws will retain the cover.  Mark a "forward" arrow on it so you know where it fits.  Remove cover, and then the tape carefully, pulling it back at a 180 degree angle from the surface it's taped to (to minimize pulling paint or micro loose).  An even safer way would be to wax  and polish the surface to do the layup on, and then use a plastic scraper or credit card to peel the fiberglass off of it.

That's my best description of the process, but I'm sure somewhere it's been documented out there on somebody's website, probably many of them.  What few covers I installed on N56ML were under the wing, exactly as I've described.
