Guy,

Yes, the outer wing spar mounting brackets both need to be inside the stub
wing brackets.

As I recall I ran into this issue when building. I added a layer of plywood
under the WAFs at the stub wings to get the spacing needed.

Thanks,

Subject: KRnet> Wing mounting brackets

I have a question for those who are way more experienced at building than
me. We (my 91 year old father and I) are building a KR2S with the new
airfoil. In building the wing spars we followed the dimensions for the
center spars and outer wing spars using the measurements for the new
airfoil. Now that the spars are built, we found that the brackets are
exactly the same width apart on both the center spar and the outer spar.
Instead of the outer wing spar brackets fitting inside the stub wing
brackets, they are the exact same width. Do the outer wing spar mounting
brackets both need to be to the inside of the stub wing brackets?

Thank you,

Guy Maniscalco
