I don't know how much some of you guys like following along on some of my projects, and until last week, I hadn't updated my web site in a few years. But, for those that are interested in following along, I've got a fairly extensive web site, including a lot of stuff I did to my KR before selling it in 2020, at <http://jeffsplanes.com>
Under that web site, I currently have two pages for projects I'm working on and updating almost daily. At <http://jeffsplanes.com/Charger/Rebuild/Rebuild.html> I'm blogging with photos and commentary, the overhaul and recovering of my Marquart Charger Biplane. It is getting engine overhaul (Lycoming O-360-A1A), new engine instrumentation, new trim system, an additional fuel tank added to the upper center section, and a complete recover/repaint. This project will be ongoing for the next 6 - 9 months, which is my estimate to complete. Additionally, this week at <http://jeffsplanes.com/Engines/IO-360-A1B6D Overhaul.html>, I started the overhaul on a Lycoming IO-360-A1B6D that came in with a cracked case. I've finished the tear down and am just finishing cleaning parts. Updates to that page will likely go quiet for a few weeks while parts make their way through various machine shops. In the mean time, I'll be working on the Charger project while I wait for parts and machine work. -Jeff Scott Arkansas Ozarks -- KRnet mailing list [email protected] https://list.krnet.org/mailman/listinfo/krnet
