Due to a minor accident it was necessary to remove a bandaid / tape
from my 80 year old skin without injury. It worked great and seeing how
well it worked I thought it would work just as well on airplanes to
remove tape residue or the plastic protective cover on a canopy.

Try at your own risk. The nurse just sprayed in on and the tape peeled
right off without pulling the skin.
