<moesensaftlec...@gmx.de>:
hello all
I'm quite new to Ubuntu and Krusader, too.
I want to backup all my settings of Krusader to be able to restore them
(especially the colour scheme), after a new >install of Ubuntu.
Regarding the Documentation I have backed up the
/usr/share/kde4/apps/krusader directory. For testing purposes I renamed
>the directory (with Krusader closed, of course). and then restarted
Krusader. (btw the ~/.kde/share/apps/krusader/ folder
does exist but is empty)
I did expect that Krusader appears like fresh instalöled, but instead it
showed the custom colours I had set. Even the >running of Krusader in
Administrator-Mode worked fine - I did not have to set the path of the
kdesudo file as after the >first install. So I wonder where those
settings are stored.
Any help is appreciated.
Stefan
Hi,
The settings are stored in ~/.kde/share/config/krusaderrc file.
Best regards,
Yuri
