Are you saying that the following happens?

1) Select a single file
2) Press "Delete" key on keyboard
3) Dialogue shows with buttons "Cancel" and "Wastebin"
4) You click on "Wastebin"
5) The file does not appear in "/home/$USER/.local/share/Trash/files"
