I'd go further than that given that subverison is NOT the SCM for the ON gate then having anything to do with subversion in the gate is a very bad idea. It will wrote because the overwhellming majority of people are not using Subversion but Mercurial. Mercurial was choosen as the solution for SCM for ON for very good reasons. Subversion is not and was not suitable so it should not be encouraged to be used or hinted at possibly being able to work. This file WILL get out of date over time because to the best of my knowlege nobody but Roland is using subversion and attempting to integrate into ON. -- Darren J Moffat
